View Full Version : new to maya - disappearing keys

I did some animation last night and now keys for some (but not all) objects have disappeared, the animation is there but no keys in graph editor - I can make new keys but they are at zero and if I edit new keys they offset existing animation. crazy.

What did I do?

Did you create Character by any chance? Next to the timeline at the right, there is an icon that looks like a key. Next to it there is a black triangle pointing down. Click and hold the triangle and, if you created Character, choose one of them, and all the keys you set, for that Character, will appear...

this is the IKjoe character from another thread around here... I don't think I had a character set on when I set the keys and when I select multiCh character set they still arent there...

maybe ill post the file - I know this is something totally obvious.
