View Full Version : animating esophagus
fproto 04-06-2003, 09:30 PM hey, i need to know how to animate an object
by deforming it...
for example, i'm now making an esophagus...
i need the wavy effect, and i can't find a modifier
that does the job right.
is there a way to set a keyframe for ANY kind of modification?
thank you.

If you are doing what I think you are doing, try:
Space Warp > Stretch

and animated so each bulging section goes down and etc.
you know, like those cartoon hoses with water pumping
through them. you know what i mean :hmm:.

Yeah, Stretch will do that.
Just takes some fiddling is all.

Many ways to do this. Another:
Stack should look like this:
Push
Volume Select (select an area to bulge)
Editable Mesh (or Editable Poly or whatever)
Then animate the movement of the VolSel gizmo.
