I'm playing around with EXP version and toon renderings. Is there anyway to put something like a texture on a toon shader? I'm trying to put a logo type of thing on the character's chest, and am not sure how to go about doing it, if it's possible. Someone mentioned in the book before that there's a way to do something with 2dtoscaler in the manual.. any clue?
I'm real newb at XSI...

What version are you using ? In XSI 3+ open the rendertree, and connect the texture (procedural or image) to the surface/color of the Toon_Paint_and _Host node

Yes I'm using XSI 3 EXP. When I do that, it changes the color of the lines only.
I guess what I really want to do is simply put another texture on top of the toon shading there already. Lets say it's a superman character. Have him toon rendered, then put an image over his chest of the S logo.
How about having the front of his pants be one color and the back another?
Should I do this some other way, instead of toon rendering it?
