Great
Love the textures of the amp
The "hals" of the guitar looks a bit thick to me but dunno exactly.
I think the "rauhfaser" needs a bit work.
But very nice anyway, keep up

I'm not so sure about the guitar, but the amp is great! (I used to play with a guy who had one almost exactly like it). The textures look pretty right on. I'd fillet a few of those inner edges tho, too many sharp ones are making it look cg. Also try to position the light (or add another) so that more of the front faceplate and of the head and the sides of the stack can be seen (some lighting tweaking basically required).
Nice work

yeah.. it rocks!
but i think that the ambient is too dark..
you could clear it a little...
hum... the rest is ok!
great!

thanks for the comments! Here is a little update, the guitar is now plugged in and has a strap. Also, the neck is a bit reshaped (it is really that thick).

The light is not final but I want to be the image a bit dark, as those rehearsal rooms usually are...

You need to work on the back pannel of the knobs.... it is'nt as shiny as you have it....
maybe some opacity mapping on the amp front itself
this is mine version of it... (with an example of the front)
check on the marshall site for some great refferance.
like the guitar...

Maybe mine is a little bit to dark,
but you can see the front

hey pascal, nice to see that there are more of those marshalls around! Your amp is very cool, too. Although slightly different, for I used a JCM 900 Head. Unfortunately I don't play it either, I took it from a brochure.
I'll fix the issue with the panel, perhaps I try an anisotropic shader...

maybe try to find an correct mapping of the front,
is'nt so hard to find i guess at the marshall site....
hmmm, mine valvestate also plays nice...
but dont play a lot.... (like never)
but: is that lightknob floating in thin air...???
maybe try some effectpedals,
i've modeld some, and the could give a grat extra to the whole image...
goodluck...

I didn't use a photo for the front panel but instead painted the labels in Illustrator and laid this as bitmap above the metall shader of the panel.
Here is a close-up with a new material without reflection:

Don't know what you mean with the floating lightknob. A pedal is something I definitely want to add, I must have a two-channel Marshall switch somewhere... Next thing to add is a guitar case and then I think I'm quite done.
I don't play a lot these days, either

I've modeld these some time ago....
Like the material on your amp..
Maybe try to get some more grain in the texture..>
more subdivision in your logo.
and what's wrong with the on off switch,
But very muck like where this is going...
see ya,

well, I don't think it matters who's one is better and I really appreciate pascal's input. So, no offence here!
The Logo could be a bit smoother, but in the final render I think it will be small enough that it doesn't matter.
pascal: what about an own thread anyway?

Here is now the case and the footswitch! I think I'm quite done with the modelling and will finish the lighting. Time to put this to an end...
