Hey Supria,

This is a nice start for a sketchbook. You have studies of books, copies of great artists and gestures drawings (they´re very important). My only advice at this point is "try to never stop": make at least a new drawing (good or bad) each day, until the rest of your life. It can looks too radical, but draftsman are like athetles. They have to trainning everyday to stay in shape (actually I have to addmit I´m kind fat...hehe).

That´s it. Keep posting. I´m plug in you in my Subscribed Threads and will check your improvements.

:)! welcome! good start to your sketchbook! i agree with agnaldo, try to do a sketch everyday, no matter what it is. also concentrating on parts of the body is good too, helps so you dont get overwhelmed with the whole figure... as the figure is extremely intimidating. your stuff looks great :D esspecially when i can see you put an underlying structure underneath. those are a great tool, once you understand them they will be your best friend.

look forward to more!

Hi ...Supria ..;)

GREAT START TO YOUR THREAD...

I think that besides learning the basic forms of anatomy from books and photos, ..you should also do studies from real life..,to put to use what you have learned from those book and photo studies,...Do studies of people in motion/action from real life ...This will really train your eyes, and your minds eye to capture the eccentual for the actions that you will be animating....just a passing thought that might help you out in/on your journy ..:)
I really like those cartoon figures that you posted by the way..GREAT..:applause:
Really looking forward to seeing more of your works, and progress..
TAKE CARE

Fun work. The cartoons look like studies based on Preston Blair's Animation book. I really like how your lines have different weights, I think it adds a lot to the drawings.
