Title: Mystical Labyrinth
Name: Raphael Rau
Country: Germany
Software: CINEMA 4D, Photoshop

Hi... This is my newest 3D-Still. With this piece I wanted to create
an interesting mood and sense of lighting. More mystical then realistic.

For rendering I used the Cinema 4D Advanced Renderer with
Stochastic Global Illumination, one lightsource with area
shadows, an HDRI for inderect lighting and an extra pass of Ambient
Occlusion.

I merged the passes in Photoshop and did some color correction.
Rendertime 4:45 H 1280 X 720 px (High Anti Aliased, GI)
You can see the result here. I hope you like it. Komments are
most wellcome.

Cheers Raphael Rau

Very nice indeed. Great lighting, modeling and texturing. My only crit is the dice. They seem out of place for me. Especially if your going for a mystical feel. They, to me convey more of a feeling a fantasticalism than mysticism. Maybe something more appropriate for what your trying to go for would work better? either way, very nice job. 4 stars!

WOW...i'm not familiar with Cinema 4d, but the mood and atomosphere you have acheived with the subtle coloring of your light is really amazing. Keep up the amazing work!
