View Full Version : How to model Stuff like these Sci-Fi walls
NEO0978 09-25-2007, 01:22 PM Hi folks!
I really love the works of Stefan Morrell and I have some questions about his modeling techniques. I mailed him but had no response :curious:
So, can somebody tell me what kind of technique is used at this "simple" scene?

Looks, pretty much just like simple extrusions, cuts (not booleans!!) and bevels. Doesn't really require a whole lot other than some time.

yup, thats pretty much all there is to it...I'll use whatever tool I can find in 3dmax to get the job done..so I guess it's a case of know your tools & you'll know how to model it
bevel,extrude,inset..vertex mode,poly mode,edge mode...whatever it needs
