The devil looks somehow like this, I think: very classical, so that he can be recognized very easily.

There's always a reason behind STRANGE BEHAVIOR.

There's always one guy responsible for all the bad.

Sometimes it's hard for him to stand.

Sometimes he wishes things would have developed differently those days.

So sometimes he regrets deeply.

There's alway a reason behind the unexpected, behind STRANGE BEHAVIOR.


(Technical background: It's all 3d work, with very little image post production after rendering.)

(Additional note: This picture is not meant to hurt anybody's religious feelings. It just uses the contrast of devil and church to get the effect of really strange behavior.)

sieht ja schon ganz gut aus :)

You should use the few days left to improve the lighting situation and more important the textures.
The wall still looks like a clean 3d plane with no bumps and structure at all.
As you have candles in your picture you can easily bring more atmosphere in the render by using a more candlelike light source.
It may look realistic now but realism isn't a target in this piece I think. (a devil isn't real. At least I hope ;))

Hi neablo or coodle,

thank you for your hints. With them in mind, I made a few changes to my picture. Above all the wall got a structure now, and I made the light more yellowish due to the candles. Although I'm sure it's still not the candlelight that you probably got in mind...
But it has to be enough for this time.
Looking at all the other entries, I know the chances of my image are very very small.
But as a famous TV-saying says: "Dabei is alles!!" ;)
