Whats up yall? I started modeling a character in 3dsmax5 that i used to draw when i was younger. His name is Pitt from Image comics. Now, being that i am modeling him high poly i want to model his hair. what i've done so far is just use renderable splines as hair, which i think i could settle for if i could randomize the thickness of the splines.
Could there be a script written to achieve this?
Also, would reactor be a good way of animating the hair?
Can I make the hair bounce off of his back instead of go through it?
His arms are wrapped in chains could i model the chain and spiral a spline around is forearm as a path for the chain to follow?
Thanx in advance for any crits, help, or responces you have.
