Title: Circus at the Moat
Name: Michelle Boulad
Country: Australia
Software: Painter

The most interesting place to be at the castle today is in the middle of the moat. C'mon in, price of admission is only two flies :)

Just a quickie, about 15 hours, for the monthly theme (circus) at a children's illustration club. I hate circus's, always have...too much noise and the clowns creep me out. This was my attempt to stay within the theme and still enjoy the work ;)

Painter, wacom.

I like it! Looks cute - perfect for children! I would say "mission accomplished" :)

really fun and creative painting. the style is very good. the characters are well done and i really like your "take" on a circus. i hate them too! if i HAD to bitch about something it would be the steeples of the castle being cut off up top...but i'm a photographer!

CNell, thank you so much for your feedback :) I was a bit torn about the top of the castle...I wanted it to be second choice to the eye after the circus tent, and so purposely left it cropped. But then again...I don't like it cropped off at the top either :/ LOL...

The characters were so fun to work on, thanks for your comments about them. The salamander was a hoot, I loved painting his expression :)
