Title: Grapes
Name: Lucas VEBER
Country: France
Software: Blender, GIMP
This is my first "food picture", I hope it looks tasty!
Shaders: Subsurface Scattering, reflexion was used, combined with a dust shader in order to make the grape texture softer.
Blender was used for modelling, lighting and rendering, The Gimp was used for post-production effects

it's very good but just decrease a bit of reflection since the glass look a bit glassy
Looking great! I like it. Although I agree with jojo1975 it is a little too reflective.
You should post this at www.blenderartists.org (http://www.blenderartists.org) in the finished project section.

Thanks you all for the comments:)!
The reflection is a bit too strong that's right, it may look too glossy.
Ok i'll post it on blenderartists!

Looks great.
I agree on the reflection being a bit strong, but I don't think you necesarily need to reduce the reflection, just blur the reflection slightly.

and using Freeware
This aspect is really amazing.
... "free software" please, like in freedom.
Blender is not 'no fee' an you can actually sell it like some do.
Thanks

Very nice work, I love it!
I think out of respect for lucky3 we should stay on topic, and save the software discussion for another dedicated thread.

Very Nice. Have you used Yafray or internal render?
How much time it took?
Please guide?
lucky3

It's internal renderer only, about 1 hour rendering.
About the shaders:
Grape material (http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/3488/grapematzh9.jpg)
Dust material (http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/1963/dustmatiw5.jpg)

Sorry for the late reply!
