Looks pretty good so far :)

You need more shadows like in the reference. Lot of blue in the shadows there. The top of the ear is also bigger in the reference, and there should be more read at the tip of his nose.

So overall you need a little more definition and depth in the image, doing the shadows will help a lot. Keep it up :thumbsup:
