HI,
I was just going to post an old image of what is probably going to be my senior thesis character for the end of next year. Its somewhat of an atypical style of character but I'm trying to use the story to propel my idea.
I am kind of resorted to using a lower poly count than my second character (which is a failed character presented in the next picture) due to the fact that I'm rendering this stuff in Mental Ray on Maya 4.5 with only a dual 800 mhtz pc setup. The other character was taking much too long to render in order for me to graduate in time.
The influences are also a big part of this in that I'ts telling a part of a side of my life...
anyways...This is just a sort of (frightening) test to see exactly how the worlds greatest animators will take it....(Believe me when I say I'm very very reluctant to post this here) Most of my influences for this come from Jim Henson as well as a certain japanese drawing style

Thanks for any possible comments

The images are not even trying to load.. what are you doing using geocities?

Sorry dude, but the only reason why typing in the address works for you is because the images are probably stored on the cache of your system.. don't you have any space on another server?:annoyed:

Okay slight update...

Here is a link to the blend shape test avi (divx)

Included as well is an arm band detail (yes i know its not really hollow yet..playing with design)

And also I kinda started hating the bump map on the lips so I redid them with a bit more detail (texture mapping is still relatively new to me)
