I'm trying to have a big rock thats shooting out from the volcano and hitting the bridge. I tried using meshbomb but the bomb dosent's look right when it tears it apart. I have lava hitting the top of the bridge and several different particle elements using Afterburn. How do I have the rock hit the bridge and have it tear it apart realsitic? I would have an image attached but I can only get it down to 85kb.

Use reactor or a similar physics simulation plug-in. I would model some of the larger broken pieces and mix some meshbomb and particle stuff in there.

true, animate the larger chunks by hand and toss in particles for extra goodness

Instead of meshbomb, I'd do a particle array so that the chunks would have thickness. Then use spacewarps and collision objects to break it apart.

Just a thought.
