how do you connect two seperate connect polly shapes. that cps melscript. i have two plabes. both are seperate connect polly shapes, when i go to weld the veritces nothing happens.

first you must Polygons > Combine them -- you should also check the Edit Polygons > Merge Vertice options and bring that value up or higher than 1unit -- the default is 0.
