Hi. this is my first few modelling on maya, I quite new it to software and I've created a praying mantis in 2 days. I've used photoshop to make the background abit blur so that it seems more focus on the praying mantis. Hope you guys like it. thanks!

aww what a cute little guy! I love it! Looks like you did a great job! The only thing i would change is put a little less blur under his feet so he doesnt look like he is floating on the leaf. Other then that great!

just want to tell you that green colour is not look good on your praying mantis, and I think the leg need more details. This pose is ok,but front cameraview would be nice.
anyway,you really had a good start.
