View Full Version : MB std on intel Mac???
bbuxton 09-20-2007, 09:02 PM Will MB7std run under windows on parallels or bootcamp & will the dongle work?
I am soon to retire my last PPC machine which has MotionBuilder 7std installed. A while back autodesk supplied me with a dongle to allow tranfer to other workstations.
Thanks

Motion Builder 7.5 extension 2 runs on a intel mac. Pretty well actually.

Yes 7.5 is UB unfortunately the price hike from the (discontinued) standard version is a bit much for my use. I was rather hoping that I could squeeze a bit more life out of the standard version before migrating to a competing product.
Thanks

I'm in the same ship...
Planning on upgading my mac to Intel.. in this few months and wondering if my MotionBuilder Standard 7 license will work on the new intel iMac ( under Rosetta)
I don't have a dongle though....
Don't use MB that much so the cost for upgrading is not really on the budget...
(I bought mine from Alias..)
Anybody has MB 7 working on an Intel mac...?
thanks!

Thanks skritter:
Anything I should be aware of, bugs and such...?
5.5 Was Kaydara's version still.. right?
Hope I don't have problems with Autodesk on issuing another license when I switch machines...
I remember there was a big hassle after they bought Alias about this issue.. but don't remember what was resolved... or if in practice it will be easy... :)
good luck,
fjv
