Without the metal support going all the way across I'd be wary of putting any weight on the railing or outer end, though I could just be misunderstanding the forces involved. I still easily misjudge the relation between thickness and load capacity with steel, so I wouldn't be surprised if I've got it wrong for different kinds/thicknesses of wood as well.
That being said, beautiful render.

When I created this stair during my training course,I asked to an architect if it was possible to make the stair and he said ; yes if the metal support go away in the wall.
