I've downloaded the dew tutorial file from radiosity via http://www.peranders.com/c4d8/ and when I open it up in c4d and render I get no dew. Strange since I have v8 and thinking particals. Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be a god send.

have you let it play for a few frames of animation? doing that might help you.

Ignore little old me, I am sure sadie can help you out the most with this one.

I've tried rendering it on different frames, but haven't rendered out an animation or anything?

dew file from radiosity? that's my file (i own peranders.com), please give me the direct link to the (i presume renderosity) page where it's shown.

the file will require you to hit play from the beginning to get the particles to appear as jiii said, then just render away.

mobve to frame one and read the directions on the metaball object's name verycarefully. to make the metaballs smoother lower therender subdivisions a bit, 2 produces a beautiful image, 3 is useable.

okay I've played it and then rendered and little dew pixelated droplets show up, though it doesn't resemble the still on ur website. I've unhide and activated the metaball and its child and also unhide the dew sphere. If chatting would be easier I can forward my instant messager info to u, just let me know what flavor u use, aol, icq, etc.? thanks

well I have found xpresso and Tp to be very finicky sometimes it works some times it doesnt.

using the exact same Xpressions and everything its like it has a mind of its own. so if i were you I would just keep trying.
