Very nice work man, allthough I think the second plane has it's nose to far down. Kinda ruins to speed effect in the render. Oh well, lighting + modeling = great!

that'd be awesome if you put a missle flying right by that they both just dodged... and also, do they have pilots? planes, especially fighter jets, need pilots ya know :shame:

Modeling: AWESOME!
Texturing: AWESOME!
Rendering/lighting: AWESOME!

heheh... anywho, great work.
Cheers,

Thanks guys :)

There is a pilot in there... just hard to see I guess, but he's there.

As for the missile, I think I'm gonna try animating them and put the missle in then... but good idea though.

It's a real photo background... though I wonder how long it would take to render that many clouds... yikes!

ooooo beautiful! Great job on capturing an the action, the motion blur adds a lot to it... or is it supposed to be DoF? Either way, it looks great! Keep it up!

Wow! Very realistic! Love the position the two Hornets are in

The only thing is, the first Hornet's nose seems a little long, but it's still superb!

EDIT: EEK! what happened to the second one's tail fins? (the horizontal ones)

:p awesome work anyway...I couldn't do that...ever...

very nice pic, do you mind to shear where you got the clouds picture from?

I have an f-16 I would love to render with a decent background.
You can PM me if you want ;)

YIKES!! Solarix thanks so much... I never even noticed that and apparently neither did many others :)

Good eye man!

See the new pic... with wings this time .... :D

Thanks Duffman, yeah that's motion blur.

The clouds I got from just doing a search for "clouds" on google. You have to wade through a lot of stuff but there are some good pics out there.

Man, I have done that but always come up empty, all I can find are images of clouds from the ground. I have never found cool aerial images, at least not large enough.
