Hey all, I'm glad to submit for the first time, one of my last work.

I made it for a challenge on 3DVF. I used 3dsmax, and Mental Ray as renderer. I made textures and post-prod with photoshop.

Comments and crits are really welcome.

Pas mal du tout ton image ! Chapeau ^^

Presque parfait, franchement trés beau travail, je suis sur le cul, mais ceci dit, je te met que 4 étoiles, car je suis sur que tu peux encore faire mieux, j'ai hate de voir ton prochain post ;)

A nice composition, but the cake itself doesn't look as well done as the rest, and seeing as its meant to be the main part, its a bit dissapointing.

The texture needs some work, and the cake looks dome shaped, as it doesn't seem to fill the entire cake holder. If you look where it should go into it, it curves around.
