CGTalk - old wacom tablet

Hey,
I found an old Macintosh Wacom ArtZ2 Tablet out back at work and was wondering:
1. Is this thing any good?
2. I now use a USB PC, so can I get an adapter that takes the old ADB connector for the tablet and converts it to USB...and at that point will it work on my PC?...is this only a driver issue after the connector works?

1. yes, the older ones have 256 levels of pressure where the newer intuos have 1024 levels or more. I still use an old serial 12x12 just fine.

2. yes, but I'm not sure if it will work on a pc since many of the mac ones require drivers for it to work.

i have an old adb wacom ...when i upgraded i looked into this

as far as i could find there is an adb to usb adapter... but it will not work with the wacom.....it is a driver issue.....wacom decided it would be better for them to sell a bunch more usb tablets rather than to put effort into supporting an archaic technology

that's why adb tablets are dirt cheap on ebay and why mine sits in a dark dusty pile
