Hello All,

I was just wondering if anybody has a fully rigged character that i might practice animation with. I don't have much time to model or rigg anything i just want to animate. I will of course give you full credit for the model and rigg etc. I am just a student and want to practice animation a lot. If you can help let me know.
My e-mail is macktn@shaw.ca if you want to send me anything. Thanks

Troy

use one of the rigs that comes with XSI and just quickly envelope one of the primitive body models, takes 5 min max for Ok results

or use the proportional rig and envelope one of the free models cgtalk/3d festival posted:

You could go over to SciFi3D (http://scifi3d.theforce.net) and use one of the various starwars characters, but most are in .3ds, .max, or .lwo so you would have to import the .3ds file and start over on the textures/shaders... as well as rig them for xsi...

I have a character rigged and done on my site

just a small note that you should uncheck the "ChldComp" button on the right side before using this rig.

Have fun animating it!
