Software: Photoshop, XSI, ZBrush

Well this character was inspired by the Final Fantasy versions of the legendary creature. Originally i made the base model years ago and never really did nothing with it. I recently decided to finally make something more interesting out of it, got him through zbrush for further modeling and texturing then made some improvement in photoshop.

I really liked the Ifrits while playing Final Fantasy games and this is kind of my interpretation of it. Greatly inspired by the FF8 versions but used a more canine than feline head from the FF10.

i love it! Great modeling and surface! my only crit is the antialiasing in the render, why is it so bad on the edges? 4*!

Lovely scene. Did you render it in zbrush or in XSI?

nice work, love the lighting on the render, and cool style. Brings back Final Fanatasy 8 Memories:)

I did it in Zbrush. I rendered with different material and mixed them'm in photoshop to get that look. I had some problems with the antialiasing in Zbrush and I'm looking to fix that. I'm really used with the rendering section of Zbrush.

I followed the basic idea from this guy from zbrushcentral>

I first renderer the basic image then different layers to mix them in photoshop.

When I have a few minutes I'll fix the antialiasing problem.
