Is there an easy way to bend a plane of video or even a picture? *yes i am newer to after effect ;P*

Yes, but you'll need a plugin: Forge Freeform (http://www.forge.net/prod.htm).

Freeform is an awesome plug-in. but $$$. There is a simple way to do it in AE, but it's very limited, if you don't mind a sharp angle.
