i did this script to do an automated rig, then i figured it wont hurt if i made it compatible with MB, so could anyone please tell me what do i have to do???

not to much really, solid connected base skeleton that can be named to auto characterize but no need to do that, you can have rollbones in but they don't have to be inline with the arm you can have them as child nodes of a regualr 3 bone arm.

etc.. so just a good connected base skeleton and you will be fine..
