thanks ur reply, but what will u use for the eyebrows, paint texture or really build it with poly??, and How to make a good one..?? do u hv any good tutorial about painting human textures in PS and i think i need a more details one...coz most of the tutorials r very short, and some r half finish or they already paint it on without showing whats the steps they do...i m just blur here, i know how to do in a MAYA ways with nurbs for the eyes, but i just cant figure out how it works on poly(LW).

The eye is the Spirit of character and I'm now still trying to explore .....I'm the Max user , haha, watery reflection, eyewhite tone and highlight on pupil is the key.......

as a character illustrator, you probably have good sense on human form, so not much to critic on model......:D

pls visit CGVisual or ChinaDV, this's my recent work.....

Something seems off with the lower eyelid. Can't put my finger on what it is but seem wrong somehow. Other than that, I really like the concept, definitely shows your own style.

.... ur eyebrows ... is it bumping inwards?... looks kinda inverted. . why not use maya hair?(altho im not using maya.) :) oh and yeah.. the skin can used some work.. try putting a specular map on it. it's lack of highlights. :)

The specularity of the skin is too even. Try creating a spec map to make different parts shiner than othes to show place where the skin would be more oily or wetter.

The outside corners of the eyes seem to wrap around the side of the head.

Computer Arts has a pretty good tutorial on creating realistic 3D eyes:

Nice work, your mesh looks great.

I think it does look kinda weird where the ear and the jawbone meet. Also i think the upper lip come down a bit to far. And this might just be me, but i think the cleft in his chin is a little too big, although it does make it look more cartoony if thats what your going for.

From my humble opinion....:p

The proportion still need some works, the legs look good, the arm muscle seems too strong and the abdomen ...a little bit slim.(but it maybe the look you want...)

you may add some muscle around the abdomen. I'm not experienced in musclar male body building, so can't help on his mesh:shrug:
