Hey guys,

Im hoping that you guys know the answer to this. I reckon its something I am overlooking and finding help through the files included with cinema4d isn't providing an answer.

Okay, so here is the situation. - I want a bunch of chips to be flung from generally the same spot and land on another spot. So I have like 4 chips in the solver object and gravity.

How do I go about to tell the cinema to fling chip 1 now. then 40 frames later...fling chip 2?
Ive tried putting all the chips in different solvers which allows me to fling them at different times but then they will not collide with each other cause their in separate solvers.

Putting both solvers another solver didnt work either nor keying the mass from 0 to 1 when I need it affected.

All helps appreciated. Thanks guys...as always :)

put all the chips in the same solver , now , keyframe the "total mass" para in the ridig body dynamic tag for the chips . so the total mass for the second chip change to 1 from 0 in the 40 frame and the 3rd chip's total mass change to 1 from 0 in the 80 frame and so on ,,,,,,

Hmmm ive tried keying the mass from 0 to 1 and well every other thing I know how. I really cant seem to solve this except for keying the gravity shape and moving it around to affect what I need it to affect.

There has GOT to be a more logical way to do this. Please help guys. How do I have different objects be affected by the gravity under the same solver object and have the ability to have the gravity affect it when i choose

Perhaps you can have the chips generated from a cloner or emitter 1 at a time? Should be able to control spawning. Not sure whats required in your scene though.

just a thought,
