CGTalk - Putting new icons

The R10 icon scheme is beginning to grown on me, but there are a lot of missing icons and my older layouts are showing several little sphere thingy indicating that these icons, which worked in classic mode, are now missing.

I can continue to work in classic scheme of course, but I would like to put my own icons, and possibly make them available in a custom layout for everybody else. How can I do that? Is there a tutorial that would quickly explain it to me?

no tutorials but if you look in the resource folder there is an Icons tiff file That single tiff contains all the icons used for commands. then there is the res file which will help you to identify the location of commands on the tiff file using their starting pixel coordinates. When you make an icon remember to also make a tiff for it.

Thanks a lot. I dabbled with the icon files in the res folder but it is not obvious how to make a custom scheme with custom icons. I will have to do it on trial and error. A video tut on the basics would be nice, if anyone more experienced would like to do this.
