This is somewhat CG related as this thing is running on MASSIVE software... pretty creepy. You almost get the sense that this thing is thinking... :)

If it was character animation, i'd say its a pretty bad one.

So far the best robotic motion i've ever seen was an audio animatronic in Disney World, one of a robot that was in the waiting room just before the Stitch's Great Escape (http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/mk/stitch26.jpg).

I think robotics without help from animators are like video games made exclusively by geek programmers that have no artistic talent at all.

If they can't move with natural moves because they are brainless machinery, they can at least have some grace in their motion, implanted by a (thinking human) animator.

Still i'm glad this guy took a step back (hopefully) from his first ultra realistic mumbling human robot. It will be less difficult to start with a cartoony robot instead.

I wonder if it would go on a killing spree if they'd used the Massive routines from Return of the King. :)

Its unlikely that the thing would go on a killing spree. The Return of the King bots actually figured out when they were outnumbered and fled the battle when things look bad.
