Hello all!
In this work i've tried to create an old german yard.I used 3d max 8 for modeling and vray 1.5 for rendering.
Special thanks to Thomas Luft for his great programm
called ivy generator.
I hope you like it.Comments and critics are welcome.

I like the color settings in this picture.
However, one thing that crossed my mind - I see dark outlines on the buildings ahead that's kind of making the picture look less photo realistic. But maybe that's your whole idea?

really good work
i like the texture,lighting
It seems really a photo. The only critique is that you should add some light on the top of the trees on the background because the light there is different from the light on the modeled leaves.

It feels like a place I'd like to visit! You've done a beautiful job textureing the cement walls and the beveled wall moldings. It'd add more warm touches to the piece by putting just a little bit of textures to the clean walls, roofs, and paved ground to make everything feels wonderfully at home.

do you mean the black part below the roof tiles?
well,i ve looked around at many buildings before starting
texturing,thats what they really look like when they are dirty.

i couldn't add reflections to the trees on the background
because these trees are just a texture:)only the plants in front of the
building are 3d
