No, he's behind the CG human characters; that for some strange reason looked a lot cooler in all the extra material, presentations and such than in the actual movies.

That being said, however, I'm still appreciative of this article. This is also the first time I've ever seen any of these "Reloaded" screen caps at these higher resolutions. The Hugo Weaving diffuse/lit texture map alone is worth the price of admission (free!). A very valuable learning resource overall.
