Fist off. Its a very nice pic, nicely modelled, and some nice textures.
BUT ;)
If you really want it to shine here's some of my suggestions to what you could improve on in order of importance:
1. What's the focus of the piece?? The space is too cluttered. Either remove some things or space them out. The kettle doesn't need to be fully in the pic. And the lamp seems a bit off IMHO. It isn't really neccesary
2. Lighting. The ambient light is too dark. Try with some GI.
3.The book is aligned perfectly with the edge of the table. Rotate it slightly.
But again, this is just my opinion. Feel free to disregard it.

Nice picture, but i agree with the points Jeron
mentioned!!!
And i've got another:
The pieces don't fit together!! try to
find a subject!! The lamp and the books
are under one subject, the pot and the glas
are under another one!! try to focus on one!!
If the books are about kitchen, they fit well (i can't
read the letters!!! Japanese???).
I would change the lamp with a kitchen lamp!!!
which hangs from the ceiling!
Again, the picture is great!! these are just points i
found, and as Jeron told u, it's just my opinion!!
