Woke up this morning, and went over to the Autodesk site to see if there was any news on Maya2008 - and there it was ready for update for Platinum Membership subscribers.

:rolleyes: but no webkey the link is set to Maya 8.5 - arghhh and i wanted to play this morning.

For the first time in 7 upgrades, I didn't need to use Webkey.
At the end of the installation process, I was asked if I wanted to check if there was a licence in the "prekey file" (or something like that), and indeed, my licence was found and installed, and Maya 2008 launched.
I was surprised because the "prekey" thing never worked before for me.

I have to request a license - it's not working for me. :( ...but they are usually pretty quick about it.

**WORKS** - I don't care what you guys say :) I like the new navigation cube.

worked for me without asking me anything. It edited my aw.dat automatically and I was up and running (usb dongle).
