This is my first run cycle, and I was wondering if I could get some help....

It seems frame by frame its ok, but when played at normal speed it seems too chaotic...not sure if I need more slow in/slow out or what

I think the head on the side view is a little wierd for some reason, have you looked at somebody running lately? I like to go to the park and watch peoples run, walk, stride & movement cycles. Or I just get a friend and record them running on a treadmill ;)

I like the run honestly, I just sense something strange in the head on the side view of the animation, it just moves forward and back too much. Im not too sure though, maybe just a stabalization thing or I could be over-analyzing it ;)

I think Pitvipr is right for the head. It moves too much, should be smoother.

Also its left arm is not rotating in right way.

But I like that kind of run, really in a hurry, I hope that making the head moving smoother won't take away that feeling!

there are some problem in this run animation....
first of all it seems to fast....i suggest to add a key every 3 frames...
2) the arms roteate in the wrong way...
3) and the head...when the body goes down the head look foward... when the body goes up the head going down
aniway i suggest to record some people while running and study the movement

I like the style of this run... I like how the arms dont swing back. Your hips are doing something a little funky they should rotate toward the forward foot and then back to even on your passing postioning. Your character's head isnt bouncing correctly either. You might want to look at lineing up your keyframes on your hands and feet. You can offset them later but make sure you have them right before you pull out that artistic license.

2 main problem:

rigid/stiff spine
too fast!
and, the head moves like crazy, it's too much imo.
check your toes, they dont make sense.
there is a frame which i only see one leg move, that shouldnt happen.

you're getting there! keep it up...
