Name: mauro baldissera
Software: 3ds max, After Effects
Hi guys, this is my last character.
In this scene this girl is working for a photographer. I've made this girl not so realistic, but a bit strange, big
eyes, like the final fantasy characters.
My reference for this model has been Scarlett Johannson.
I've used 3d studio max for model and render and Hairtrix beta(I was a beta tester) for the hairs.
I hope you like my image.
I ve used these passes, diffuse, occlusion, SSS, light fur on face and hairs.
Compositing made in After effects

Nice! I really like it. But honestly I have to say that u canīt see the original reference in this work (Scarlett Johannson). I am not sure if it was your intention to get a similar look of her.
Anyway I really like her! Exspecially the hair/style. Looks great!
But one tip... even if u hardly canīt see the ears. They look horrible. :scream: This girl deserves better ears :wise:!

she's look so realistic. I love your work so much.
5* from me.
Very nice picture overall . Love especially the hair & leather.
You did the smile pose, why not use for the final composition..would have make the character more lively.
Will the Hairtrix be available to Maya? It sure looks as good, if not better than Maya hair. We could save alot of money if we could use Maya complete with the plug-in. Maya hair is the main feature I care about for unlimited.
4 stars from me.

Great job  Maybe the bump of skin is too heavy, but the hairs are fantastic!

great skills there, I like the overall feeling and shaders, but there are some hairs under her chin, you might want to fix that, coz its pity for such a good quality image.

Really nice... To be honest, I didn't realise she was based on Scarlett Johansson until reading further on, but it's a nice, well worked model and I don't know if you were going for an exact resembelance. I'd love to know how you got the "peach fuzz" on the face

nice work! I love the small hair on the chin and everything, great touches of reality. 5 stars

I like it, and it looks like Scarlet, but more cartoon.

Great work men, beautiful modelling and texturing.
It doesn't look to Scarlett Johanson because I know is only for reference, but look great and I find there is something wrong, it seems a few hairs between the right cheek and the neck, above the rose tatoo.
The rest is great.

Awesome work! I like the attention to detail you paid with the small hairs on the skin that most people seem to forget.
I think that the right side of her face(her right) looks narrower than the left side. It might be the angle but I looked at all the images you posted(even the high rez) and the left side just looks round, or too full...maybe the right side is not full enough?
Overall amazing though, keep the good work coming!

Really impressive Mauro, even if for me your best work is still the sfinx. I love it. :applause:
