I love the mood and the composition. The overall feel of this image is great!

I hope that your girlfriend was happy about it :)

However I wont let you get away without some critic. The main consern is the strong lightsource up in the rightcorner. I can imagine it is some sort of star or a planet, the moon maybe? I think it should be toned down a bit, just to make it clear what is is really is.

Also there is something bothering me in the face area, I can't make out if it is a white/black/asian person thought I must say that it is leaning more towards a white typical European one, just wish it was a bit clearer.

To me it looks like the hair is out of place, like it doesn't fit exactly at the right place of the head, but maybe that's because it's dark overthere...
For the rest, wonderful POV, composition and atmosphere! Wonderful painting!!
