yep - its coming along well enough - as you say the texture needs a bit of work and in the main body of the can, it does look a little segmented in parts but I'm sure that will change with the updates

Hey,
if your goin for a realistic can, ATM it looks a bit to rounded off(or something....lack of words:shrug: ), try and define the edges a bit more..

What happened to the tab thingy in the can? You should be able to see it at this angle. Unless it was broken off. Even then, there would be a little spur where it had detatched.

Update:
* top is sharper
* simple "tab thingy" inside

BTW: The texture is segmented, will change this in the next update.
Also i will change the Thickness of the hole (its to much).

EDIT: removed pic..see next post

hey there, i found a picture of a can on the net, i have attached it...a few things i noticed - the shaders specular is too sharp(but there should be two shaders on this object- for the paint and alliminium)...... ack enough blabber heres the can i found:
