Hello Folk:

Sorry to post here, but I know some of you use MotionBuilder with Cinema (as in my case)
(The MotionBuilder forum doesn't have that much activity....)

I still use MotionBuilder 7 Standard with Cinema 9.6 ( on a Mac) and I'm planning to change my machine with a new Intel one in a couple of months...

I do have the 9.6 version of Cinema optimized for the Intels ( so that's no problem) but was wondering about MotionBuilder.... does it work ok on emulation (Rosetta)....? any problems...? or am I have to shell out $ for the 7.5 (patch 2 ) which is Intel optimized....?

I use it VERY sparingly ( MB) so it's not really an integral part of my workflow....

Thanks in adavance for any comments,

fjv

In that case would it not be cheaper to buy an oem licence of windows xp & install that on your mac as well ? It would necessitate re-booting between os's but that's not a huge incovinience for occasional use. It would be a lot cheaper than a motionbuilder upgrade.
I don't have a mac so I can't help you on rosetta.

edit : that's if your motionbuilder licence allows use on windows too.
