a bit from our 3d animated variety show Prospero Presents. Unfortunately our animating was better than our writing. This is my favorite of 5 skits.

may the 20 dollar surrealism shots shoud be more detailled and a litle bit longer as you tend to long forward to that moment

yes, excelent work. i must agree although one would not want to admit to it, forpossibility of always looking for the spotlight glam, the final scene is really the essence of the whole movie. it seems extremely inappropriate to have it ony last two seconds. You have thought of your story very well but this means that u also need to research the subject surrealism in a greater depth. find out what really makes a surreal entity and then try to directly apply that. 10 SECONDS WE WANT!!

sorry if i waffled, i did realy like it. nice storyboarding. modelling could be better but seems appropriate for the style.

WELL DONE:beer:

I think the writing was better than the animation. Maybe the pacing could have been a little better, but interesting.

Oh my I love this animation! The animation itself is very nice, but the writing is super good, I love the dialogue, got a few laughs out of it, Dali happens to be my favorite artist. Two thumbs up for this one :)

yeah that writing was excellent, great voice over work and the animation tied to it really well! But I have to agree, the end shot needed to be much longer and way more detailed. cool
work:):applause:

A huge thank you to everyone. We took this to NAPTE a few years back and did not get half this reception. We have re-cut it a couple of times since and that ties into the reacurring comments about the end.

In the original cut this skit ended with the $20 surealism transitioning into another skit... which was the surealism part... and then at the end of that skit neko (the cat woman) came back to say "thank you very much." Even then it was hard to follow. People did not get that the next skit was the surrealism.

Thanks again for the kind words an when my bandwidth turns over again I will get some of our other stuff up for critique. as a matter of fact you can just go to the site to see some of our video and more commercial work if you want.

humm...that was good overal. some funky characters you have there. I have to agree that the writing/voice acting was better than the modeling/animation overall. The guy's mouth had some pinching issues. The "cat" was an interesting character.
