hey, anyone ever try doing a screen shot using "print screen" of a video that is playing in media player? Why is it it will screen shot everything except for the still of the video .... ?

There is something is media player that prevents it from happening. I think it's actually intentional. Try using HyperSnapDx... I think that gets around the problem.

thanks for the tip... yah, cuz ATI file player has an option for screen shot... but Media Player doesn't... *sigH* there's this stupid streaming video I was trying to play but I couldn't get it to play on file player cuz it's a streamed video w/ no index table.... weirdness... -.-"

sometimes it works if you deactivate hardware acceleration in WMP. It has a better success rate with QuickTime, but i've been able to get a couple shots from WMP over the years;)
