This is my newest work.

I used the MtRainer terrain from Tom. It's no attempt to recreate the real place. This is just my own version.
Made with Terragen 2 Technology Preview.

Wow, that's really amazing. So realistic!. Terragen does trees too? Nice!

Jeggis - The trees are not made with Terragen. They are models from xfrog.

very good image - what is rendertime in terragen for image like this?

The rendertime for something like this is very bad. I think it was around 24 hours.
But I pushed it very hard her also. The trees are all having slightly reflectivity on the leafs and there is also soft shadows. Most importantly... Terragen is still a Technology Preview. It's not a finished product :)
