I'm not sure of any tutorials on the Internet either.

As for creating a car rig for a real time engine that's pretty hard to summarise. There are numerous factors and limitations, but it all depends on the engine that will run it.

For instance you may need a ground locator which sits on the floor at all times so that the coders have a reference point for animations. You may need pivots or joints at door hinges etc. If you have damage on the car you could look into using blendshapes, or bones for bits to fly off?!?!

I hope that helps some.

It all depends what the car has to do. Is it a cutscene or must it be controlled by AI. Must the car be dynamic or can everything be hand animated. Anyhow, I think there's a couple of car rigs on the internet, I think I remember seeing some at highend3d.com .

Best of luck

is a cutscene......the problem is the in-game engine....
because if the rig work in max probably it dosen't work when i export the file for the 3d engine....
