View Full Version : extrude LOTS of splines at once

hi..does anyone know what i have to do in illustrator to allow me..in C4d..to extrude a lot of splines as if they were one....or is there something i need to do in C4D to join them all?

ive noticed that sometimes when i export splines from illustrator they are sometimes imported in C4d as 1 object..and sometimes they are not..and it seems like a random thing but i know it cant be.

Check "Hierarchy" in the Extrude Object when you have more than one spline to extrude and the splines are children if the Extrude Object.

If you go Edit > preferences, then unfold Import / Export. Scroll down to Illustrator Import. Here you can specify how you want your ai files to be imported.
