View Full Version : Rendering Fur and Fluid Smoke.

I am trying to render fur and hair on my character as his head is being encircled with Fluid smoke. I need a "blackHole" on the hair for the compositor, just like a black hole material. Rendering a solid-straight alpha wont work as the smoke is swirling aound it needs to have differing levels of alpha where the head passes thru the smoke. Please help with any suggestions! Thanks.

I'm facing the same problem but I need to render Maya Sprite particles with FUR BlackHole. Even I thought of rendering flat plates (instanced) with same texture but the problem remains the same :sad:, I'm not getting the black hole. My scene is little heavy to render both the elements at the same time.

Scene Description
"dust is flowing on ground with grass(FUR), CAM is near to grass."
