I have a problem with max biped..
my squirrel has inverse kneel movement and biped
wont allow me to do that, every time when i rotate legs they swap automatically back..

if you wont a revers leg rig....go in figure mode....roteate the legs about 180 degrees, and now should be work correctly....

i have tried that, not working, when i come out of figure mode and start animating, then suddently it automatically bring legs back to normal..
have tried pivot changing anything..
oh, and i use max9..:)

mmm strange.... because i try to go in figure mode and flip back the leg....
and when i start to animate it works correctly...
honestly i don't know

legs swing back to "human" kind position always when i try use steps/walking - mode,
sometimes without it when animating bipeds legs..
If you are i max 9 it should work like mentioned earlier. I remember having problems with reversed elbows in 3ds max 8 though.
You could also create a bone ik chain, which is reverse style in it's structure and then link it's knee control to foot and upper leg bone to biped thigh. Hope this helps!
