View Full Version : No photons with MIA
MAV4d 09-02-2007, 07:25 PM Im using the MIA material very heavily in my scene, and after getting the basic geometry set up i went to shade everything and all of my photon bounces have disapeared. i have the MIA plugged into the photon shader and the shadow shader.
this has never happend before, i dont know why it decided to not work now! lol

Is there any object blocking the camera so that you had to turn double sided off for this object? This is a possible problem.
And did you check the Rebuild Photon Map option?

nope no double sided objects, its just basically a light out side of window... MR calculates the photons but when the render pops up its the same as a render with no photon emittion.
yes the rebiuld photon map was checked
