Hello,
Can anyone tell me why the layers tab under tools is ghosted and unaccessable? Originally, as I am editing and sculpting I made a few layers, then when I tired to turn one off and the another on, Zbrush froze on me. Now, I cannot access these layers at all.
FYI, I am running 2 gigs ram and 2 Xeon 3.2ghz processors. My model has 4.2 million points.

The layers get greyed out if you are not on the subdivision level in which they were created. So, if you made your layers while at division level 3 but you're now at level 5 and want to add another layer or turn one off, you need to go back down to level 3.

That's the only time I've ever seen layers greyed out, hopefully that helps out.
