Does an Intel Mac render particles the same as a PC if used together in a render farm?
as long as the processor type is the same it "should" render the same (the reasons for the differences between processors is the previous big endian/little endian and other math rounding variances between chips)
so yes it should be fine as long as the PC's are intel chips too (of course testing should be done/needed before sending off a huge render on faith)

Thanks Dann.
(though I love the idea of rendering on faith)
Chances are it will work out just fine. CINEMA 4D does not rely much on the OS for mathmatical functions (it uses an own set of math libraries that is the same for all plattforms) so differences in calculations are down to a minimum.
Differences between Mac and PC were mostly caused by the G5 and x86 processors having different floating point precision, something that can't be adjusted via software without a tremendous speed hit..

I often find that rendering anything more than a cube and a glossy sphere to be an act of faith!
