hello everyone, im pretty new to the forum and painting in photoshop. this is my second complete ps painting so im still in the learning process. im just looking for some honest critiques and opinions.

Hi! I'm most definately not an expert at painting, so I hope I can help, and not sound like a hypocrit or something...:)

Okay, well first off I would like to say I LOVE this painting! It's extremely imaginative, so congratulations on a great piece. But as far as critique, I would agree with adding some more detail to the waves and castle. Also, the light from the jelly fish is a bit strange...I think since the light is so bright, it would spread throughout the water. I see that you have included some light on the surface of the water relative to the light below, but since the light source is so close to the surface, it would be much brighter.

I'm sorry if I didn't help at all! But I really do love your painting, it is very beautiful!
